Welcome to the Most Holy Trinity Catholic School website. My name is Anne Hufnagel
and I am the principal at the school. I hope your visit enables you to find the
information you are looking for today. If not, please call our school office and
talk to myself or Mrs. Amy Klein, our school secretary. We would be happy to answer
any questions you might have. Please feel free to browse our website to learn more
about the learning opportunities at MHT School. We are very proud to offer a quality,
faith-filled education for students in grades 4 through 8. Our school is about fulfilling
our baptismal promise in following Jesus. We provide a Christian atmosphere where
children can grow and learn spiritually, academically, and socially.
As you will notice by
our mission statement below, it is important to us that we give our students many
opportunities to develop their faith. Not only do our students attend Mass at least
once, and sometimes twice a week, but they are very involved in planning the Mass.
They participate in Mass as lecturers, altar servers, petition readers, and gift
bearers. The staff at MHT School provides numerous opportunities for the students
to get involved with helping others and serving the community. Other opportunities
for students to enrich their faith are Advent and Lenten prayer services, recording
a rosary CD, making rosaries, daily prayer, and prayer pals. Providing opportunities
for students to serve others is also a high priority at MHT School. Students put
on a fabulous luncheon every year for the veterans in the area and we offer refreshments
for our seniors at least once a year. Serving others is a great way for students
to experience the Lord.
Most Holy Trinity School
offers not only a strong faith-based education, but prides itself in high academic
achievement. Our students, typically, perform well above the state average on the
MEAP tests. They also continue to achieve at high levels of success long after 8th
grade graduation. Our tuition, which is currently $1525 per student, has remained
the lowest in the Lansing Diocese. It is a goal of MHT School and Parish to provide
an opportunity for parents to obtain a catholic school education for their children
at the best possible rate. We want it to be affordable for all and try very hard
to work with parents to find a financial arrangement that works best for them. If
you have any questions with regards to our tuition rate or would like more informatin
about scholarship opportunities, please contact me.
I look forward to working with
you to provide the best Catholic education possible.
God Bless,
~Anne Hufnagel
The Most Holy Trinity School community believes that religious education is a process
of becoming and creating Catholics.
We encourage our students, who are chosen by God in Baptism and who are invited
by Him to share fully in the Divine Life, to an active, living, conscious faith.
Our goals are to:
1. Teach Catholic values, decision-making, responsibility, and respect.
2. Promote inner spirituality, Christian witness, Christian service, and Christian
love.
3. Help students develop, recognize, and improve their unique skills, talents, inner
resources and awareness of life's purpose.
4. Emphasize Catholic doctrine, scripture, prayer, Church history, Mass appreciation,
and understanding.
5. Assist students in reaching their potential spiritually, socially, and intellectually.
6. Provide students with knowledge and fortitude to defend their faith against challenges
throughout their lives.
