Natural Family Planning

Understanding Fertility and Marriage Series

This article is the first in a new series on “Understanding Fertility and Marriage”. We recognize that this is a large topic with many different perspectives. While we won’t cover all of those, we hope to provide helpful information to answer common questions in these areas. Having said that, we would love to hear your feedback! Your story might help others out there. We hope that by publishing these articles that there are less couples who feel alone in their struggles and that all of us as a church community can be more informed to support those around us who are in need.

Our first article is by Jenny Ingles who is the Director of Fertility and Life Ministries at the Diocese of Lansing. As you will read below, Jenny has a lot of experience with different types of Natural Family Planning and is a great resource for anyone who has questions.

NFP Friendly Physicians

NFP Friendly Physicians are doctors who either specialize in NFP-related medicine (such as NaPro TECHNOLOGY) or who are familiar with NFP and can help navigate fertility-related and gynecological issues using NFP charts.

We have several NFP-friendly physicians in the Diocese of Lansing!
Check them out here:
